The Hooked on Jigs Pompano Jig is a bait that you have to try to believe. To an angler that hasn’t caught fish on a pompano jig before, they look like a silly piece of lead attached to a hook. The anglers that use them know their trick however. These Pompano jigs perfectly imitate Sand Fleas that we have down here and will catch everything from Pompano, to Whiting, to Black Drum! Simply make a good, long cast, let it flutter to the bottom and hop it with a twitch of your rod to make it come off the bottom and wiggle back down.
