The 5″ Berkley Gulp Saltwater Jerk Shad is a bait that we refer to here at Binger as a “Jack of all trades”. It does a lot of things well and there are lots of different ways to rig it. You can fish it aggressively for a reaction strike or you can fish it slowly in cool weather conditions to entice those finnicky fish to eat, especially with that strong GULP scent.  You can rig it on a weightless or weighted wide gap hook to fish it quickly with a zig-zag action to trigger reaction strikes from fish or, you can use it to make that bucktail jig look larger to entice those fish looking for a larger meal. The sky is the limit with the 5″ Saltwater Jerk Shad.
