The Doc’s Goofy Jigs Pompano jig is a particularly interesting looking bait that, when people see it for the first time cannot believe catches fish. Here at Binger however, it is one of our favorite lures for everything from Whiting and Drum on the beach to Pompano on channel edges. The best way to fish this jig is by allowing it to sink to the bottom initially and then popping your rod up to pull the bait up off the bottom while giving it slack to let it wiggle down. Then, reel up the slack and continue it until you have the bait in to do it all over again.
